#StopAmharaGenocide

Advocacy is crucial to stop the Amhara Genocide

“When the world is silent, even one voice becomes powerful.”

– Malala Yousafzai
Stop Amhara Genocide (SAG) is a non-profit, Europe-based organization that has represented the interests of Amharas since 2021.

The ongoing ethnic cleansing and displacement of Amhara’s we are witnessing today need an urgent response and measures! We are a Human Right Advocacy association in Europe. Our objective is to get international support to stop the ongoing genocidal killings of Amharas across Ethiopia and be the voice for the voiceless Amhara victims.

Countless Amharas have been slaughtered like animals, burnt alive, cannibalized, houses set ablaze, sometimes raped in front of their children and husbands, humiliated and displaced from the only village themselves and their ancestors know of. Therefore, first and foremost, this genocide against the Amhara people must be stopped immediately! We find ourselves in an extreme emergency to take action.

Therefore we need your financial support in executing multiple actions to push harder on the main actors of International Human Rights watchdogs. We want to express our gratitude for the past support of those who felt the impact of SAG. We raised awareness for the cases of #AmharaGenocide at different European institutions and the UN; we have participated in hunger strikes in other European countries as an extreme measure and will continue to do whatever is needed.

As seen in the past few months, SAG was at the forefront of reaching organizations such as the UN and other European actors.

To advance with our advocacy activities, we are raising this funding program and encouraging you to maintain your fierce engagement and support despite the harsh economic & social environment. In many ways, the push for our cause through advocacy in Europe and at The UN is needed more now than in recent memory.

We ask you to support our work, so please donate and help us amplify the voice of the voiceless!
